Jillian Petersen appointed Editor-in-Chief of ISME Journal
Jillian Petersen, Head of Marine Symbiosis Group at DOME, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief at The ISME Journal. She is now co-responsible for the pre-selection of scientific publications and the supervision of the peer review process, ensuring a high quality of publication in the official journal of the International Society for Microbial Ecology (ISME).
Jillian Petersen has previously been actively involved in ISME as a member of the International Board and founder of the Early Career Scientist Committee.
The ISME Journal publishes research on diverse areas of microbial ecology. It is one of the most respected journals in this broad field.
