With a quiz, a plush microbe sorting wall, a pH value test station and colourful petri dishes the CMESS stands offer various opportunities for visitors to interactively engage with our research and acquire knowledge on the diversity, functions, and habitats of microbes. Researchers on pre and post doctoral level from nearly all CMESS divisions have developed and created the stands in cooperation with Open Science, a non-profit association organising science communication events and projects.
