EDGE Project at EGU Press Conference

Luzian Hämmerle, Anya Sherman, and Thilo Hofmann from EDGE—selected among 16,000 abstracts—presented their recent study on tire wear additives in food at the EGU press conference on Monday.

Collaborating with Benny Chefetz from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, our EDGE team delved into the uptake of tire-derived compounds into lettuce. The press conference garnered significant attention from major international and national media outlets, including APA, New Scientist, Kurier, Standard, Salzburger Nachrichten, and more.
