CeMESS joins hands with Open Science for European Researchers' Night!
Last Friday, the Universalmuseum Joanneum in Graz played host to a unique stall: a collaborative effort between CeMESS and Open Science, as part of the European Researchers' Night. Lotte Mayer (DOME) and Alexander Pfundner (CUBE), along with Semhar Araya and Christoph Stifter from Open Science, were the brains and hands behind the stall.
European Researchers' Night is a significant research event that occurs simultaneously in up to 400 European cities. This year, Austria marked the occasion on September 29th, with events in cities including St. Pölten, Graz, Vienna, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. The event provides a platform for the public to gain insights into the workings of research institutions and to experience science firsthand.
Outreach events like these are invaluable. They bridge the gap between the scientific community and the public, fostering a culture of curiosity and respect for the life sciences. Kudos to our CeMESS members and their partners at Open Science for making science accessible and fun!
